Am I missing something? Is this good poetry?

To each his own. It does have a beat to it but as to meaning? If it is about ice curling, then lower decks and pageways is suspect. If it is about a ship and the crew cleaning, then it applies and gives a sense of the cycle of being on a ship, etc. To me it is more nonsensical, composed just for the lyric beat. Sorry, not my cup of tea. Now as to Jenny, Buk, she is a grown lady who does not go around reporting people. Her poem of two weeks ago that you took offense about since you thought she was defending Richard was not about him but me. She has never been a fan of Mars. To her as others on this site, this should be about poetry, nothing more. We all need to get back to that, myself included.
