How lond did it take you to concieve after a D&C?

I have been trying to concieve since Feb when i sadly lost my pregnancy at 12 weeks, sac but no baby . my period came back in the march 32 days after a D&C was performed and i have been having regular periods ever since. both my partner and i have regular but I'm still not pregnant and coming on like clockwork. My partner drinks a bit and will meet friends in the pub after work on a friday(he was a very heavy drinker before we met . he sees nothing wrong in drinking 12 pints now and before. but i'm now getting upset with him as i think he could be harming his sperm. i love my partner more than anything and i really don't want to harm my relationship with him in anyway. I told him last night that drinking can reduce the amount of sperm produced and also make the quality of the sperm no good. he took it like an insult and turned his back on me. i was so gutted. he thinks it is because i am 35 and my eggs are probably no good. i don't know what to think any more. please help!
