How do you get rid of hair follicles on your legs?

I dont have any but one of my friends do and i just wanna know how you get rid of it. christmas is comming up and i wanna give her a beauty basket thingy and want to help her.Does lemon help? if so how many times does she need to apply? I need something that is natural ,not a product.(i'll be hated if it doesnt work)(and i'll be waisting my $)
