Legal - Heir to Estate in South Carolina w/ Questions?

My mother has named my older brother executor of her estate. I am named in the will along with 4 siblings. Do I have the right to see and/or obtain a copy of her will? If so, how do I go about doing this. Tension with the executor. My brother has mailed us each a letter stating we have until Nov 1st to send him a list of items we want along with a notice if we intend to purchase from the estate one of her homes. He will produce a master list from that and have us each sign we agree to the disbursement of her belongings. Prior to liquidating or giving away ets, isn't there suppose to be a formal reading of the will? What are my rights? Do I need to inform my attorney of these things?
