What are your memories of the Mive Social Change we Achieved?

I had a great great aunt who was born in 1892 and died in 1996 (nearly 104 years old). She was born in a tiny village in Hungary that, at the time of her birth, operated pretty much as it had in the Middle Ages. She rode by horse and cart. She emigrated to the U.S. via steamer ship. By the time she died in the U.S., she had seen the space shuttle launch, personal computers in every home and law enforcement routinely using DNA technologies.
