What happens if you fly Southwest Airlines and you stop and you don't change planes?

I am flying Southwest February 14 and i am stopping in Chicago Midway Airport. Can i get off the plane to eat or do I have to stay on the plane until we leave to the next airport. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
