Sounds to me like something happened to make him avoid you, and you obviously don't know what it is. I think you have done the right thing confronting him about it, and as long as he knows you don't know why hes avoiding you, but that you're willing to talk about it, thats about all you can do right now. Since he is one of your best friends, I'm sure he values his friendship with you also, and eventually will come around and at least talk to you about it. i have no idea but if it hurts, u definelty should see a doc..also i nvr heard of a sunburn causing puffiness this is of concern if u ask me. What if some of the inside part of teh ear also recieved a sunburn? I knew a military man and he said that the sun could get so hot it burns the tips of the ears and theres nothing u can do about it...but i don't recall him saying anything about swelling. Next time ur in the sun regardless of weather put sunblock on and on the nose too...actaully all over!!!! It PROTECTS AGAINST SKin cancer. Plastic Surgery and health company covering costs?

My son had the same situation for the same reason as you. His was in his stomach area. Our family Dr. wrote to his ins. co. for pre approval for him which stated the over hanging skin was causing him rashes & infections from the folds of under the "extra" skin. By removing the over hanging skin, would eliminate this situation completely. His ins. Co. DID approve it, but of course it had to be done by a general surgeon, not a cosmetic surgeon. Of course it didn't show because of course he just wore shirts over that area, but he looked fantastic after it was done & actually, who cared who did it, as long as that skin was removed. It would just have to be stated that something was resulting due to the excessive skin actually being the problem of whatever your Dr. chose as a reason. He didn't have the best ins. either, but it was covered nonetheless..Actually, she wasn't even a Dr., she was a PRN w/degrees!!! .Best to you, & it's sure worth a try...:)

Help with my persian cat's eye?

I noticed last night that my 6 month old persian kept squinting his one eye a little. When I got up this morning it had some crust on it and the eye is a little red. I know they typically have drainage from their eyes but this was more on the one eye. I cleaned it with a washcloth and warm water and thats when I saw that it seemed irritated and a little red. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow morning but was wondering what it could be? He and my other persian are strictly indoors, both fixed, not de-clawed so they may have been playing and Cozmo got the brunt of it. They get along great. So, I am figuring it may be an infection. How the heck could he get an eye infection? There is no injury whatsoever. Just kinda like when we get pink eye or something. What could it be and should I just continue to clean it till tomorrow's vet appointment? Thank's.

Can you join any clubs? This would force you to talk to people and for those people to talk to you and you could create a whole new social circle. If this isn't an option, you need to try to go out of your comfort zone and talk to people. The real problem is you created a pattern for yourself and it's easier, at least in the short term, to go through the day and not changing that pattern. In the long run, it's either causing or worsening your depression. I'm not totally against the switching school idea, but I'd suggest only considering that if you've tried to fix things in your present environment. I still think the club/group idea could be useful, but am not sure if that is even an option in your school. As for the depression, being isolated in this way could def cause it, so hopefully if you fix this issue, the depression will resolve. Does this help at all??

I don't think introducing an air vent would solve your problem. It appears that when the pool overflows there is more water going into the pool than can get out via the 6" pipe. The answer may be to increase the diameter of the 6" pipe or install an additional one. Or, you could install a land drain (say 4") around the top side of the pool to reduce the amount of surface water going into the pool during the wet season, this land drain you could also run to the ditch.

I got into a heated discussion this evening at work about this topic. I am wondering if you consider gift giving and receiving to be honoring your Christs birth? That is giving out expensive Gifts to family and friends and receiving the same in return. Would your Christ not prefer that instead of getting drunk and being greedy that you help out the needy?

Shoulder pain - help!?

I have had shoulder pain on and off for the last year now. Began under my shoulder blade. Went to 8 physio sessions, were they said did alot of movement tests, but i was able to do them all without pain! I seem to get a sharp pain when i move my arm certain ways, but i cant pinpoint a particular movement that is causing it. The last few days, the pain has increased, and i now feel it down my arm, and around my armpit area, and into my hand. Any ideas? The physio discharged me, as he couldnt find anything acutally wrong, and any treatment was having little effect. The pain is slowly becoming unbearable...and inconvenient when i have my 1year old to look after!

What's the driving force for this increase in what I'd call bizarre behavior. It's a non-sequitur. Some of it is religiously motivated, but others seem to madness or maybe a disease. my 4 1/2 yr old dog had a litter of puppies about 2 1/2 years ago. of course i kept one of the puppies who i named jewel. jewel is now 2 1/2 years old. she had a toy ball that she was very attached too. and when i say attached i mean OVERLY attached. she would pick up the ball and just walk around with it in her mouth and cry! sleep with it even try and clean it! i think she was treating it more a puppy. the other day we were all together in the living room, jewel was laying with her ball in the corner as my youngest brother came over to her and she snapped at him in his face ( thank god he moved)! my boyfriends promptly took the ball away and threw it in the trash! so the next day we got another toy for the two of our dogs (diamond & jewel). jewel took the new toy ( stuffed chipmunk) and immediately started to act as if it were her puppy AGAIN! jewel is not spayed and another thing is if u pick up a toy jewel will not take it from your hand she will only lick it and whine... i'm worried that this behavior is unhealthy for her and for the people around her!!! I have seen 2 white guys recently whose eyebrows were purposefully, obviously, shaven off. The one guy works in my building and he definitely keeps his eyebrows shaven off on purpose. How lond did it take you to concieve after a D&C?

I have been trying to concieve since Feb when i sadly lost my pregnancy at 12 weeks, sac but no baby . my period came back in the march 32 days after a D&C was performed and i have been having regular periods ever since. both my partner and i have regular but I'm still not pregnant and coming on like clockwork. I reload for 7.62X54r I use Barnes TSX .311 dia bullets 150gr. Finding 150 gr fmj to zero with is difficult I have a few boxes on order at the local cabelas and they still have not come in yet. I refuse to use milsurp its corrosive and inconsistent. I can find .311 Spitzer 150gr softpoints to reload with but I am concerned with the lead on the tip setting back and causing accurarcy issues. So my other alternative is to buy Hornady .311 174 gr. FMJ. Its heavier than my 150 grain Barnes hunting bullet so I realize there will be more drop but how much drop would I be lookig at at 300yds over the 150gr hunting bullet. Bottom line could I use 174 Gr. FMJ to zero for a 150 gr premium bullet?

New Toyota strategy: all cars be hybrids!?

Toyota recently had a strategic change that states that the whole Toyota lineup will have hybrid cars. That means from Yaris to Highlander. Hi, Two years ago, I was surprised to see that one of my neighbours' black cat was quite chummy with a fox. I would have thought the fox would have eaten the cat! But I have seen them together on several occasions since then. And two weeks ago, I saw a very strange animal on the car park next to our block. It was a VERY large cat, at least twice as big as a normal cat. It was not fat, it was big & tall. The colour of its fur was also quite strange: it was like big patches of black and brown, and quite bushy. Could that creature be a mutant, a hybrid between a fox and a cat ? Before I went on birth control, my periods were highly irregular (I could wait 2 weeks for one, I usually waited for 4 months), hence me going on them. My doctor says I have to be on a bland diet for 2 weeks. Do you know and bland food ideas?

I feed my daughter and she gets extremely bad gas so I have to figure out what foods are causing it so I have to go on a bland diet for 2 weeks and slowly add things back into my diet. She told me that I can not have any milk, cheese, milk protein, whey, casein, garlic, onion, tomatoes, peppers, spicy food, cabbage, beans, broccoli, corn or caffeine. She says it is going to be impossible to cut all of that out completely but I have to try an do my best. But being drunk i ended up sending her thousands of messages looking like an idiot, she also told me a boy had been messaging her asking her out on a date last night and today, she said she refused as she still loves me but cant be doing with me. We're thinking of moving to Texas, there's jobs there, cheaper cost of living (and I mean f'real), and the people seem to be nicer from everywhere but here in the californicating state, life just seems to be slower and calmer out there, here its' either you survive the bullet or you die from it, why is that? out-of-staties seem nicer, calmer, friendlier, and generally happier all around. I don't know how to tell you this, but she's definitely stringing you along. I had a similar relationship with a guy, except I agreed to date him before I found out that he had never kissed a girl. This led to very awkward moments in the bedroom and serious disappointment (and ual frustration) for me. I broke up with him over the lack of intimacy and the fact that he complained a lot, blaming my inability to be in a real relationship (but not lacking in bedroom experience). Somehow he convinced me that our relationship would work, and if I trusted him he would try harder...and he did try so hard to please me. Everytime we were away from each other (45 minutes away), I felt that I missed him and wanted to see him again, but when we were together, there was nothing there. The sad part is, prior to me agreeing to date him, he was like my best friend and now he won't talk to me anymore. Bottom line, me being that girl, find someone else that's a little more conservative and leave before you get your heart broken.

How do youn handle a two face mother in law?

My mother in law can win an Oscar award. It seems she is the nice good buddy character in the film but she is an interfering *****. She retired only recently and perhaps there is no much to do at home. It is a shame I feel sorry for her because she leaves alone no wonder her character is so appaling. I wake up in the night with difficulty breathing, but when i run and work out i breath fine. What is wrong?

I had excersise induced asthma as a child, but i took tests recently that said i do not have asthma. I am a varsity track athlete and am in great shape, and in fact my breathing improves when i do excersise. This problem just started to occur very abruptly: one day i was completly normal, the next i was waking up in the middle of the night and having difficulty breathing. Durring the day, i breath fine, but i can feel a small tickle in my lungs when i exhale. These symptoms have been happening for about a week. What the f*&% is going on???

Should I give my cat away?

My beloved cat just died. She used to be an only cat, but then she got pregnant when we let her go outside, and we got rid of all of her babies but one, who happened to be very ugly, and no one wanted her. my mom would only allow one cat inside at a time, and bc the ugly one was only a baby, we let Harlee outside(the mother).Harlee was an exceptional cat, and we were all very much attached to her, but three days ago we found her dead outside my window.there were no bites on her, but she had blood coming out of her and her eyes were big, making me think she was very scared.its completely heartbreaking to me that i wasnt here to help her(i was at school), and that she came to me to help her, and all i can think is that she was wondering where i was and why she was in such awful pain.her kitten, Bug, who is about 7 months old now, was home when she died outside my window, and we think she watched her mom die, bc she stays by the window watching outside and cries. its gotten better for her, shes starting to play again but about twice a day she just sits by the window, and shes never done that before this happened. im completely destraught over my baby dying, that i feel like im not emotionally attached to the other anymore. and i dont know if shes salt in the wound everytime i see her and not the other, or if shes lessening the pain for me. but i kow that if i had the chance, i would give bug away for harlee to come back. im leaving for college in august, and would have to find someone to watch bug for me for 8 months, or have her putting in a boarding house, or give her away to a good home. BUT i also dont want Harlees death to be for nothing.(bug staying in, and harlee having to stay out, and me give bug away right after when i should have done it before harlee died, bc i had planned on keeping them both when i moved out, i just knew harlee was a good cat and she never strayed far from home, so i trusted that she would be okay outside) what am i feeling? is it just sadness about my other cat, and its leading me to think that what im feeling is ociated with this cat? or do other people feel the same way when a pet has died? and if you have felt the same way, did you give the surviving animal to a good home and how did you feel afterwards?

I found this weird metal cross-looking thing.?

When i was digging a swimming pool in the backyard my dad found this weird looking thing, it was covered in dirt and rust, it looked really old. The odd thing is that it is shaped like a cross without the small top piece and made of metal, the metal is not completely smooth it has some ridges. The long end is curved into a "O" at the bottom, the 2 arms sticking out of it both have this triangular thing coming out of the middle of them, and the top looks like its broken off. What could it possibly be? Also, is there someone i could contact in order to find out what this is?

Is there such thing as transferring vdo's, from VCR, to home computers?

I had found some old vhs home vdo's of my friends and I, who are in a far away country. I can't afford to buy another vcr and make copies of the vdos to mail them the copies. But they do have e-mails addresses. So I'm hoping there are ways I can transfer vdo's from my vcr, to my computer, to be able to e-mail them the vdo's or put it on youtube, so they can see it, or something. I mean, I've gone to the stores to see if they sell the wires where you can connect the vcr to the computer and I can't find any wires that have a usb porter thingy in one end and a vcr cable connector thingy on the other end. Please help! I feel like I can't breathe?

Help! Hurry! Around midnight or so, I started feeling like I couldn't breathe. Not like I couldn't get anything in, but you know how sometimes when you think about breathing, you realize that you're doing it and stuff? Yah, well a little bit later, I feel asleep and that happened twice and both times I woke up gasping for air. I don't think I was breathing in my sleep. My nose isn't stuffy or anything, but now that I'm awake and ever since my problem started, I keep feeling that feeling of how I need to make myself breathe. And sometimes I forget or am not concentrating and then when I come back, I feel like I was not breathing. Also, I feel a little sick and keep burping a little. I feel like I'm going to stop or forget to breathe and die. Please help. I really need to sleep and I'm afraid to fall asleep again or forget to breathe. What's wrong with me? I told my dad and stepmom. They said I'm fine; just stressed and am thinking too much. And my stepmom says it's probably PMS too.
